Happy Hour December 2, 2022. St. Julien Pub in the St. Julien Hotel, Angers.

AIW’s Happy Hour, the last one in 2022, took place in hotel Saint Julien, situated on a bustling square, Place du Ralliement, where since a week the annual Holiday (Christmas) Market in Angers is being organized.  

Their bar, called as well Saint Julien, opened recently, is where about 40 members and some guests gathered to listen to live music by the group “Cocktail” and we nibbled on cold cuts, cheese, dimsum and mini-desserts.

.  Nadine Chloé (and her trio), known by most AIW members present here again, from playing at the annual cocktail in June 2022 at the Museum Jean Lurçat, sang French and English favorites such as “Route 66” as well as some new repertoire.  

The evening ended at about 1030 pm, when the last members left this very warm and hospitable bar to enjoy the rest of the night … or went home to get a good night’s rest …
