AIW ANNUEL BBQ PARTY ON JUNE 10, 2023

55 people in attendance - most arrived by 1 pm.
The location was near Brissac, where slate and limestone go hand in hand to put Anjou patrimony on the map. Its houses and churches are well designed in this community, called Tuffalun. Members and guests enjoyed a sunny Saturday afternoon in the country side.

Appetizers, salads, cheeses, breads were enjoyed by those who brought them and then the BBQ was fired on to grill sausages and skewers with turkey, abricots and prunes. 

 And with the help of BBQ masters Daniel and Lionel, the meats were grilled to perfection.  Until almost nothing was left in the end.

 

And while young kids played in the background, afterwards we enjoyed a variety of desserts, also brought along by everyone. And with or without a cup of coffee, most people left by 4 - 5 o’clock.
